Poolpio
Poolpio was an immersive-content production company founded in 2015 and active until 2018. It explored how emerging camera and VR technologies could place viewers inside a scene, using point-of-view music videos and 360-degree films to create experiences beyond the fixed frame.
Projects included POV music videos for DJ Odilon and a 360-degree film for the Belgian Braille League. The film simulated aspects of seeing with cataracts, giving audiences a first-person way to understand the condition. It was designed as an awareness and fundraising tool for the organisation.
Poolpio also produced virtual tours of BNP Paribas Fortis’ flagship branch in Ghent and the European Parliament in Strasbourg.
